Audi Sport GmbH has developed a new RS sport exhaust system with matt black exhaust specifically for the Competition Plus versions of the RS 4 Avant and the RS 5 Coupé and Sportback. The result is a more intense sound, which is caused not only by the exhaust system itself, but also by the reduced use of insulating material between the engine compartment and the interior. This intervention has also reduced the total weight of the car by about eight kilograms.
The RS 4 Avant and RS 5 Competition Plus are not only technologically different; The exclusivity of this version is also reflected in the interior. For example, the side panels of the seats are finished in Piano Black. An optional Dinamica/Pearl Nappa combination is available for the RS sports seats. The Dinamica material is made up of 45 percent recycled PET fibre, with approximately 215 grams of this material used in each seat.
The new version is also clearly recognizable from the outside, and not just by the glossy black rings on the hood and tailgate and the glossy black type designation. For the first time, these exclusive versions of the RS 4 Avant and RS 5 are available in a special Sebring Black crystal effect body color. Customers looking to enhance the sporty look of their car opt for the Phantom Black glossy competition wheels. As an option, Audi can pair these 20-inch alloy wheels with high-performance Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires designed for use on public roads and tracks. Matrix LED headlights with laser beam are standard for the Audi RS 5 Competition Plus, the RS 4 Avant Competition Plus is equipped with used Matrix LED headlights.
