The key to the Taycan GTS Hockenheimring Edition already hints at the car’s exclusive character, allowing buyers to drive directly to the Hockenheimring Porsche Experience Center (PEC). Here the car can be charged for free for two years. Owners can also park there in style in the VIP Porsche Experience Center parking lot during the ‘Frühsicht’ event, the monthly gathering of Porsche fans.
Exclusive materials, color combinations and details like never before in a Taycan make this special edition unique. The Stone Gray paint comes from Porsche’s special PTS color range and is exclusively reserved for this year’s special edition Taycan. Copper-colored bronze has been chosen as a contrasting color. A new interpretation of the classic metallic color, this color adds a stylish accent to the exterior and interior.
Mission E Design’s 21-inch wheels are also eye-catching. The center rim is painted in satin Bronzite, while the rim flange is finished in a glossy Stone Gray body color. The center wheel cap is finished in Bronzite silk-gloss and finished with a colorful Porsche shield, while the brake calipers are painted a glossy black finish. Other elements in the Bronzite are door sill guards, padded diffuser inserts and the ‘Taycan GTS’ badge on the trunk lid. The birthday logo is embossed on the B-pillar. The text ‘Hockenheimring Edition’ next to it was in Stone Grey.
Island Green decorative stitching contrasts with black leather upholstery. This color combination was first used in the Taycan series. In addition, the decorative Paldao wood paneling with exposed grain also attracts attention. The transmission selector lever, cupholders and air vents above the center console and external driver and front passenger vents are in Bronzite. The GT multifunction sports steering wheel also features Bronzite accents and is finished with decorative stitching and the 12 o’clock marker in Island Green. The floor mat is distinguished by its Island Green leather inserts and decorative stitching.
Exclusive is the Hockenheimring anniversary logo on the tunnel console. The brushed black aluminum door sill guards feature the illuminated ‘Taycan GTS’ model designation. The door lighting projects the anniversary logo onto the floor. The attention to detail that characterizes Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur is also reflected in the car keys, which are painted in body color and bear the anniversary logo with laser technology.
The Hockenheimring Edition can be ordered immediately as an option package on the Taycan GTS for an additional €13,030. The Taycan GTS has a suggested retail price of €137,600.
Above the Hockenheimring
With motorcycle racing, the Hockenheimring officially opened on 29 May 1932. The triangular shape of the circuit was given a more oval shape in 1938, to achieve higher speeds. The first Formula 1 race in the Ring was held on August 2, 1970. In the future, the circuit aims to become a modern mobility platform. ‘Mobile evolution’ – anniversary theme – depicts the transition from the past to the future. ‘Traditional elegance’ emphasizes Porsche’s long tradition and exclusivity.
Since opening in October 2019, the Porsche Experience Center Hockenheimring has been a pure center of sensation. Located about 100 kilometers from Porsche’s headquarters in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, PEC offers showrooms, handling circuits, driving dynamics zones and off-road tracks. Visitors can use their own Porsche for various components of the program, but they can also choose a model from PEC’s extensive fleet. Participants are guided by professional instructors.
