Presentation and price: C43 from 71,000 euros (update!)
All-wheel steering is standard for the C 43. The rear is impressive with four chrome-plated exhaust trims.
Appearance and interior: Contrast stitching creates an AMG feeling
Traditionally, the metallic finish of the C 43 hasn’t changed much compared to the regular C-Class with the AMG line. At first glance, only the plaques on the fenders and the four round exhausts reveal the smallest C-AMG.
Carbon décor and a sports steering wheel with optional Alcantara components characterize the interior.
Once inside, the new AMG sports steering wheel and optional décor immediately catch the eye. The contrast stitching on the dashboard and door panels brings out the right feel. Their new generation of optional performance seats was also introduced with the C 43.
Equipment and engine: Turbo electric for C 43
In addition to greater power, the C-Class as the 43 model always gets all-wheel steering. All-wheel drive with rear bias torque distribution and an adjustable chassis are also part of the standard C 43 equipment. With M 139 engines from class A, C 43 is now also given a completely overhauled engine by mechanics.
In addition to the sedan, the entry-level AMG C-Class model is also available as a more practical station wagon.
Performance: Over 400 hp in class C
The C 43 completes a standard sprint to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds, a travel time of one-tenth longer. It ends at 250 km/h, for an additional 2250 euros in the “AMG Driver Package” the top speed can be increased to 265 km/h.
