Launched in 2021, the C40 Recharge is Volvo’s second all-electric model. In the coming years, Volvo aims to launch a new generation of fully electric cars, one of the most ambitious electrification plans in the industry.
Volvo was the first automaker to commit to full electrification and aims to sell only fully electric cars by 2030. By 2025, Volvo already wants to get half of its global volume from fully electric cars. The next generation of Volvo models reflects Volvo’s ambition to lead in safety and will set new standards in the area.
“We always strive to be a leader in safety,” zfor example Malin Ekholm, head of the Volvo Car Safety Center.
“This means that we adhere to strict safety standards in all of our cars, many of which we have helped develop over time. Whichever Volvo you choose, you and your loved ones will drive one of the safest cars on the market.”
