In this way, the MC20 Cielo offers a versatile driving experience: all-around with a closed and opaque roof; a unique ‘sky feeling’ when the roof is transparent; and holistic with an open roof.

When converting a coupe into a convertible, gaining weight is usually a big challenge. The Cielo weighs only 65 kg more than the coupé. By limiting the added weight, Maserati maintains the performance of the coupé version in the MC20 Cielo. The carbon chassis also guarantees the required torsional rigidity.

The MC20 Cielo features the conventional V6 Nettuno petrol engine that debuted in the MC20 Coupé. It produces 630 hp at 7,500 rpm and 730 Nm of torque from 3,000 rpm. The power-to-weight ratio is 210 hp/liter.
