DAF has built its 10,000th New Generation DAF truck. This milestone testifies to the success of the New Generation XF, XG and XG⁺. Official production of the new DAF innovative truck began last winter.

The completely newly developed New Generation XF, XG and XG⁺ have been named the ‘International Truck of the Year 2022’ and awarded the title of ‘Truck of the Year’ in several countries.

Fuel savings

DAF is the first – and by far the only – truck manufacturer to take full advantage of the new European regulations for dimensions and weights. It has set new standards in efficiency, safety and driver comfort. The aerodynamics, new powertrain and state-of-the-art driver assistance system have customers reporting fuel savings of more than 10%. This leads to a comparable reduction in CO2 emissions, according to truck manufacturer Eindhoven.

We’ll soon be testing how the new DAF will prove itself in practice with the XG+ 480 on our test route.
