Changing the DAF Truck Management Board

Harry Wolters, Vice President of PACCAR (pictured left), has been promoted to General Manager Global Powertrain & Electrification within PACCAR effective August 1st. In his current position as Vice President of PACCAR and President Director of DAF, he will be replaced by Harald Seidel from the same date.

Harry Wolters joined PACCAR 26 years ago. During his career at DAF, he held various positions with increasing responsibilities, including Truck Assembly Plant Manager, Director of Human Resources, Director of Operations and Director of European Sales. In 2018 Harry was appointed Vice President of PACCAR and President Director of DAF.

Harry Wolters earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Eindhoven and completed the Executive MBA Program at Stanford University in 2017. He and his family will move to Bellevue (USA) and report to John Rich, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of PACCAR.

Harald Seidel joined DAF in 2001 and held various positions with increasing responsibility in the Finance & Controls department, including PACCAR Parts Europe Controller, Marketing & Sales Controller and Group Controller. In 2017 he was promoted to Finance Director and member of the DAF Governing Board.

Harald Seidel holds a Master’s degree in Econometrics from Tilburg University and post-doctoral degrees ‘Certified Management Accountant’ (CMA) and ‘Financial Manager’ (CFM) from the University of Amsterdam. In his new role, he will report to Harrie Schippers, PACCAR President and Chief Financial Officer.
