While customers can already find and assemble their favorite models online, they will have to wait until October to see the models in real life. First at the Mondial de l’Auto in Paris 2022 and shortly thereafter also at the Dacia dealership. But it could also be done differently: Dacia introduces an augmented reality app for smartphones and tablets: Dacia AR.
Dacia AR makes it possible to view the car in full size and even enter. In the garage, in the parking lot, outside on the street. In addition to the usual options, dealers have a completely new opportunity to present the model in this way. The Dacia AR, for example, is a solution when a dealer wants to introduce a car that isn’t physically there to a customer. The Dacia AR includes all Dacia models in all available colors. This application can be downloaded for free from the App Store and Google Play. A smartphone or tablet is required.
Starting today, Dacia AR can be used to discover the brand’s new visual identity. That includes new equipment for some future models:
- Sandero Stairs
- first available Dacia model with panoramic glass roof
- redesigned ventilation grille for left drive models
- The first Dacia with electric folding door mirror
- automatic wipers
With the arrival of a new visual identity, Media Nav and Media Display will get their own upgrade, with navigation map updates free for the first three years (previously for three months). In addition, Dacia gave a new name to a different trim level. Depending on the model and country, the range now includes up to four different versions:
- Essential for the most affordable shows
- Expression for the essence of the offer
- Travel for the model with the most extensive equipment
- Extreme remains unchanged
